Atlantic City Police have taken suspect Damaine Davis into custody in connection with an armed robbery.

Davis, 18, led police on a chase through Atlantic City and Pleasantville after an armed robbery on Jan. 4. Police said officers chase Davis after he crashed the vehicle near the Sassafrass Run Apartments and ran into the woods holding what officers believed was a handgun.  Davis is charged with Receiving Stolen Property, eluding, resisting arrest, and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Police did not release details of Davis' arrest.

A 17-year-old girl also in the vehicle, according to police, was charged in connection to the car theft and released to the custody of her parents.
