Yes, it's true -- adults will soon have a place to play in South Jersey as Dave & Busters is coming to our region.

David Mayer, the Mayor of Gloucester Township, has confirmed to the Courier-Post that the chain will be building a new restaurant and amusement area at the Gloucester Premium Outlets right off of Route 42, a mere 35 to 45 minute drive from Mays Landing or Egg Harbor Township, straight-up the Atlantic City Expressway.

Mayer tells the paper,

We're very, very excited. It's highly visible, easy to get to. This is terrific for our community, really for the entire region. This will bring thousands of people into our town to spend their money here and grow our economy.

According to the report, Dave & Buster's is expected to propose a 40,000-square-foot facility within the next two months and they hope to be open early in 2020.

We first reported on the rumors of Dave & Buster's coming to our region this past May -- and we even opined that the former Toys R Us store in Mays Landing would be an excellent location for a D&B here at the shore...
