Egg Harbor Township Police Searching for Shoplifting Suspect

The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a subject involved in shoplifting.

The incident took place on January 17th at the English Creek ShopRite. The unidentified suspect entered the store with his friend and they loaded twelve cartons of powdered baby formula totaling over $330 into a cart and exited the store. One person was detained by security but this male was fled the area on foot and was never located by patrol units.

The suspect, who is depicted in the photo, is a black male in his 20s-30s, medium build, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black head covering and a large gold chain with a cross on it.
