This is becoming a common, dangerous and expensive regular occurrence in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Fires under the Boardwalk in Atlantic City.

On Saturday morning, April 27, 2024, there is the latest fire under the boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

There have been many similar fires … Garden Pier, Resorts Casino Hotel Boardwalk area and Central Pier … just to name 3 fairly recent boardwalk fires.

As we file this report about today’s fire, details are a scant few.

We have confirmed through an Atlantic City Fire Department official that there is a fire, under the boardwalk at St. James Place.

A second source was driving right behind a ladder truck as we are filing our initial report.

Ironically, Beyrouty was in Atlantic City because he is attending The New Jersey League of Municipalities, which is being held this week in Atlantic City … at the time that this fire broke out.

At the time of the Garden Pier boardwalk fire, Atlantic City Public Safety Officers confirmed exclusively to us that the people were just lighting a fire to keep warm and cook their food.

We will, of course, await official determination of the origin of today’s boardwalk fire … However, something must be done … as the previous fires are the direct result of homeless persons, who live under the boardwalk in Atlantic City.

Atlantic City firefighters run to many obstacles during the process of extinguishing these boardwalk fires.
