Galloway Twp., NJ, man sentenced for 342 bricks of heroin, gun
A Galloway Township man will be spending up to the next ten years behind bars in connection to a massive stash of drugs that was uncovered in 2021.
Alfred Fuller of Galloway Twp., NJ, Sentenced
On Thursday, 49-year-old Alfred Fuller was sentenced on charges of first-degree possession with intent to distribute heroin and second-degree certain persons not to possess a weapon.
Under the terms of a plea agreement, Fuller was sentenced to an aggregate term of ten years in state prison with a five-year period of parole ineligibility.
Search Warrants Uncover Drugs, Gun
The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said on August 9th, 2021, search warrants were executed at Fuller’s home in Galloway Twp., his 2015 Chevy Tahoe, and two units at Clayton Self Storage.
Police seized approximately 342 bricks, or 17,100 individual bags of heroin, packaged for distribution.
Detectives also seized numerous empty wax bags that are commonly used in the packaging of heroin for distribution, a Daewoo .40 caliber handgun loaded with ten rounds in the magazine, and a plastic bag containing over one-half ounce of crack cocaine from one of the storage units.
The loaded handgun was located inside a safe within the same unit.
Police also found $27,170 in cash from both storage units and Fuller’s residence.
Authorities say when he was arrested, Fuller had the keys to the storage units and a key to the safe.
These crimes were investigated and prosecuted by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office's Gangs Guns and Narcotics Unit.
