A woman from Newark has admitted her role in a violent one-night crime spree that involved multiple robberies and a shooting in Jersey City last month.

Federal authorities said on Wednesday, 21-year-old Siobhan Chandler pleaded guilty to an indictment charging her with the following:

• Conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act robbery
• Conspiracy to use and carry a firearm in relation to crime of violence
• Attempted Hobbs Act Robbery
• Hobbs Act robbery
• Using and carrying a firearm in relation to crime of violence

Violent Night

According to court documents, on the evening of November 14th, Chandler and Rodney Williams allegedly robbed a gas station where Williams pointed a gun at an attendant and demanded money.

The pair then entered another store and Williams, again, pointed his gun at a clerk and demanded money, per officials.

From there, Chandler and Williams entered a nearby restaurant where they threatened a cashier.

Williams pointed his gun at the cashier and demanded money. Williams discharged the firearm, shooting the cashier in the chest. The cashier handed money to Williams, after which Williams and Chandler fled.

Potential Prison Time

The charges that Chandler pleaded guilty to could send her to prison for decades with fines of up to $250,000.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 17th.

Charges against Williams remain accusations at this point and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
