Monday’s crash of a out-of-control truck into the AutoZone store in the Ventnor Heights Plaza was caught on store surveillance video.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, police say 38-year-old Orest Zabihach of Ventnor was the driver of a pickup truck which accelerated across the Ventnor Plaza Shopping Center before going up on the curb and smashing though the front of the store, sending glass and debris flying.

A customer in the AutoZone, Kevin Ramirez, 33, of Atlantic City, was injured during the crash.  Both men were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, with injuries.

Police are still trying to determine the cause of the crash. The store’s surveillance video, courtesy of NBC 10 News Ted Greenberg’s Facebook page, shows glass shattering as the truck enters the store front, knocking over shelves and displays.
