It's been all over the news lately: Borgata asked a judge Monday to force Atlantic City to pay over $62 million in tax refunds, but the city doesn't have the money. Mayor Don Guardian addressed the issue exclusively on WPG Talk Radio 1450.

While the amount of money won from gamblers at traditional brick-and-mortar casinos was down slightly in November, Atlantic City's casinos had a positive month compared to last November thanks to strong internet gambling numbers.

Chef Michael Symon, of ABC's The Chew, will open an Italian restaurant inside an Atlantic City casino in 2016.

All but one casino in Atlantic City saw an increase in gross operating profit during the second quarter of this year.

Spearheaded by the New Jersey State Chamber of Commerce, an economic summit has been scheduled for Sept. 17 and 18 at the Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa in Atlantic City.

Following a brutal 2014 where several Atlantic City casinos closed leaving thousands unemployed, the eight remaining casinos appear to be doing better.

The casinos that were open in both September, 2013, and September, 2014, saw an increase in revenue according to figures released today.

Based upon filings with the state, the total gaming win from casino hotels in Atlantic City open for the entire month of August and internet gaming operations was $289.9 million in August, 2014, compared to the $263.6 million in casino win for August, 2013, reflecting a 10% increase.

Atlantic City's casinos took in 11 percent less from gamblers in July than they did a year ago.
