Atlantic City Police say two men are facing drug possession charges after a traffic stop last Thursday.

Just before 5:00 Thursday afternoon, two Atlantic City police officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1800 block of Hummock Avenue.  As a result of the stop, an investigation led by the officers resulted in the arrest of the two people and the recovery of a large amount of narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia.

Police say both occupants, the driver, 26-year-old Dupree Holloway, and the passenger, 28-year-old Dominic White, both from Atlantic City, were found to be in possession of marijuana. The officers recovered 277 individual bags of heroin in the vehicle. There were also numerous items that are consistently used in the manufacture and distribution of heroin.

Both Holloway and White are facing numerous drug-related charges and both were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
