A 22-year-old driver was killed in a multi-vehicle accident in Voorhees Township late Friday night.

The crash happened just after 10:00 on Haddonfield-Berlin Road in the area of Lafayette Avenue.

The initial investigation by the Voorhees Township Police Department found that a 2008 Honda, being driven by a 22-year-old resident of Berlin, was traveling southbound on Haddonfield-Berlin Road at a high rate of speed when it struck a 2024 Lexus SUV being driven by a 53-year-old Atco resident.

Following that impact, the Honda then crossed the roadway and hit a third vehicle head-on that was headed northbound on Haddonfield-Berlin Road.

That vehicle, a 2016 Chevy Traverse, was being driven by a 41-year-old Voorhees resident.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.

There were no reported injuries to the occupants of the Lexus.

The driver of the Traverse was taken to Virtua-Voorhees Hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition.

None of the people involved in the accident were identified in a press release.

Voorhees Police and the Camden County Prosecutors Office continue to investigate the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call (856) 428-5400.
