Attention all doughnut lovers! National Doughnut Day 2016 is finally here and that means one thing, free donuts!
According to Wikipedia, the first National Doughnut Day took place in 1938 thanks to the Salvation Army. The day was set aside to raise awareness and money for the Salvation Army and to honor those of their members who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.
