Woman from Salem Caught With Loaded Gun at ACY Airport

It's legal to pack weapons in your checked luggage -- as long as they're not loaded.

That was not the case for one woman who was stopped by officers in Atlantic City International Airport Friday when a gun was discovered via an x-Ray luggage scanner.

According to NJ.com, the handgun was found to be loaded with six bullets.

The woman was questioned and then released.

If you plan on traveling with weapons or firearms, not only must it be stored properly in checked luggage, but you must make it known to airport personnel when you check in.
