1 Seriously Hurt, 4 Arrested After Bar Fight, Fisticuffs in Wildwood, NJ
One person was seriously injured and a total of four people were arrested after two seperate incidents at and near a bar in Wildwood last month.
One of the situations unfolded around 1 AM on Sunday, October 29th, when officers with the Wildwood Police Department responded to Goodnight Irene's at 2708 Pacific Avenue for a report of a disturbance.
At the scene, cops found a large crowd gathered around two people fighting in a nearby parking lot.
Those allegedly throwing-down were identified as 22-year-old Jezahlia Mercado of Villas and 30-year-old Kelsey Bortles of Woodbine.
Both were taken into custody for disorderly conduct and later released on a summons complaint.
Then, according to police, in a separate incident, one person had sustained multiple lacerations to her face and head as a result of being attacked inside of that establishment.
That victim was treated at the scene and then flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center due to the seriousness of her injuries.
During their investigation, Wildwood Police executed a search warrant at that bar and surveillance video footage was collected.
From that evidence, two suspects were identified as 25-year-old Molly Doyle of Vineland and 30-year-old Brianna Levine of Woodbine.
As a result, those two were charged with second-degree conspiracy and second-degree aggravated assault.
Both Doyle and Levine were incarcerated at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The public is reminded that charges are accusations and all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
