12, 13, and 14-year-old Arrested for Assault, Robbery in Atlantic City

Three kids -- all between the ages of 12 and 14 -- were arrested Monday night in Atlantic City for assaulting and attempting to rob a man, according to police.

The ACPD says just before 7:00 Monday night, officers responded to the beach block of Pennsylvania Avenue where they found a 48-year-old man had been assaulted by several juveniles. The kids, according to police, attempted, but failed, to steal his wallet and cell phone. The victim was aided by a Good Samaritan who witnessed the attack and attempted to help, which caused the juveniles to flee.

Cops were able to quickly locate the kids and they were all eventually arrested. The victim was treated on scene by medical personnel for minor injuries.

All three kids were charged with robbery, simple assault, and conspiracy; they were all remanded to Harborfields Detention Facility.
