14-year-old Boy Fatally Shot in Millville, NJ

Authorities in Cumberland County say a 14-year-old boy was fatally shot late Monday night.

At around 10:20, officers with the Millville Police Department responded to the area of City Park Drive for reports of a male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Arriving officers located a 14-year-old boy who had been shot.

The victim was taken to Inspira Hospital and pronounced dead.

The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office says their investigation is ongoing and there is no known threat to the public.
