A lottery player in Camden County just turned a $2 ticket into a more than $60,000 payday.

I'm sure whoever hold this lottery ticket could give you 60,000 reasons why winning will make their life easier. They just added a nice chunk of change to their bank account.

The $2 Jersey Jackpot ticket purchased ahead of a progressive jackpot drawing on Saturday, May 25th ended up being worth $60,296.

New Jersey Lottery confirms that accounts for 20 percent of the state's progressive jackpot.

The winning ticket was reportedly sold at Eddie’s Liquor Store located at 7th Ave. and Chestnut Street in Camden.

As of May 28th, the Fast Play Progressive jackpot is up to $255,537, according to njlottery.com. It's billed as New Jersey's 'fastest way to win' cash.
