25 arrested in 12 days by Atlantic County, NJ, Sheriff’s Office
The Atlantic County Sheriff's Office continues to take a no-nonsense approach to tracking down those with outstanding warrants.
The result has been countless arrests since the beginning of the year, including another 25 people being taken into custody at the end of August.

- Aug. 16 — Robert W. Auffinger, 45, Pleasantville — arrested in Pleasantville on a municipal warrant issued by Atlantic City Joint in the amount of $1,500
- Aug. 19 — Franco J. Catalioti, 43, Galloway — arrested in Galloway on a Superior Court warrant for cruelty to animals
- Aug. 19 — Josephine C. Duberson, 40, Egg Harbor Twp. — arrested in Hamilton on a no-bail municipal warrant issued by County Central
- Aug. 19 — Stephon Gordy, 29, Atlantic City — arrested in Atlantic City on two non-support warrants totaling $35,818.74
- Aug. 19 — Rennie Hunter, 43, Pleasantville — arrested in Atlantic City on four non-support warrants totaling $42,841.79
- Aug. 19 — Katherine J. Merlock, 36, Sweetwater — arrested in Galloway on a Superior Court warrant for possession of CDS and three municipal warrants issued by County Central and Hamilton Twp. totaling $4,500
- Aug. 20 — Diana Acevedo, 44, Atlantic City — arrested in Atlantic City on a Superior Court warrant for conspiracy and theft by unlawful taking
- Aug. 20 — Michael Doughty, 46, Egg Harbor Twp. — arrested in Egg Harbor Twp. on three municipal warrants issued by County Central totaling $3,000
- Aug. 20 — William Smith, Jr., 60, Ocean City — arrested in Atlantic City on a Superior Court warrant for theft by deception
- Aug. 20 — Odell Wilson, 64, Hamilton — arrested in Hamilton on non-support in the amount of $14,659.86
- Aug. 21 — Henry S. Doerr, 64, Hamilton — arrested in Atlantic City on non-support in the amount of $56,092.16
- Aug. 21 — Sean R. Torres, 38, Galloway — arrested in Atlantic City on 16 Superior Court warrants for burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, obstruction, resist arrest, theft by unlawful taking, credit card crime, and a municipal warrant issued by Pleasantville in the amount of $1,500
- Aug. 21 — Joseph A. Walker, 36, Brigantine — arrested in Atlantic City on non-support in the amount of $10,873
- Aug. 22 — Phillip M. Allen, 36, Buena Vista — arrested in Atlantic City on a Superior Court warrant for possession of CDS
- Aug. 22 — Tyler J. Barrett, 31, Cherry Hill — arrested in Atlantic City on a Superior Court warrant for possession of CDS and a municipal warrant issued by Ventnor City in the amount of $1,000
- Aug. 22 — Mark A. Cheseroni, 57, Newark, DE — arrested in Atlantic City on two Superior Court warrants for unlawful taking and burglary
- Aug. 22 — Fahim Mcclennion, 30, Pleasantville — arrested in Atlantic City on a municipal warrant issued by Atlantic City in the amount of $1,500
- Aug. 22 — Yamanneh O. Sey, 34, Galloway — arrested in Egg Harbor Twp. on a municipal warrant in the amount of $1,500.00
- Aug. 22 — Terry L. Williams, 32, Mays Landing — arrested in Pleasantville on non-support in the amount of $4,498.99
- Aug. 23 — Dakota Butler, 22, Mays Landing — arrested in Hamilton on a no-bail municipal warrant issued by Atlantic City Joint
- Aug. 23 — Clifton Holley, 41, Egg Harbor City — arrested in Atlantic City on non-support in the amount of $1,070.58
- Aug. 23 — Efrain A. Martinez-Echevarr, 31, Hamilton — arrested in Atlantic City on a municipal warrant issued by Hamilton Twp. in the amount of $1,000
- Aug. 27 — Franklin D. Johnson, 72, Queens, NY — arrested in Hamilton on 11 municipal warrants issued by Atlantic City Joint totaling $7,500
- Aug. 27 — Desiree Mendez, 41, Atlantic City — arrested in Atlantic City on four Superior Court warrants for possession of CDS and hindering
- Aug. 27 — Demont Selby, 52, Somers Point — arrested in Atlantic City on a Superior Court warrant for aggravated assault
