4 in New Jersey Each Won $50,000 Playing Powerball Wednesday Night
While we've been dealing with lots of rain and grey skies lately, four people in New Jersey are having quite a sunny-feeling week all of a sudden.
That's because they each just won $50,000 playing Powerball.
Officials with the New Jersey Lottery said four tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn for the Wednesday night, September 27th, drawing, making each slip of paper worth $50K.
The winning numbers were 01, 07, 46, 47, and 63. The red Power Ball number was 07; the Power Play was 3X.
Those tickets were sold at the following locations:
- Essex County: Breeze Laundromat, Pacific St., Newark
- Bergen County: Northvale Gas, Livingston St., Northvale
- Monmouth County: RS Fuel LLC, Route 9, Marlboro
- Essex County: Guardy's Pharmacy, Bloomfield Ave., Newark
Over 91,000 other Powerball players in New Jersey took home an estimated $514,674 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300.
With still no big winner, the Powerball jackpot now stands at $925 million for Saturday night's drawing.
