48-year-old Camden, NJ, Man Fatally Shot Saturday Night

Detectives continue to investigate a fatal shooting in Camden this past weekend.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says at around 9:00 Saturday night, police officers responded to 10th and Mechanic Streets in Camden after they received several 9-1-1 calls about a person who had been shot.

Upon arrival, officers located a wounded man who was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he died around 20 minutes later.

The victim was identified as 48-year-old Jamal Scott of Camden.
