Nickelodeon Universe is set to open as part of the new American Dream mega-mall at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford this spring.

The indoor theme park will be 8 acres, making it the largest indoor amusement park in the country, surpassing the Nickelodeon Universe in the Mall of America in Minnesota.

The theme park will have 27 rides, including 4 roller coasters as well as a play structure, ropes course, and a game theater.

Some of the popular rides from the theme park at Mall of American will be revamped and re-created for the American Dream park.

The "Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge" will be rebranded as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Shellraiser at American Dream. It will be the steepest roller coaster in the world when it opens, according to nj.com

The "Fairly Odd Coaster" at Mall of America will become The Shredder. It will be the longest spinning roller coaster in the world, at 1,322 feet in length.

Prices for Nickelodeon Universe have not been released yet.

The park is expected to open in the spring of 2019.
