After 3 Days of No Reported Deaths, Atlantic County Reports 3 COVID Deaths
After going three days with no reported COVID-related fatalities, health officials in Atlantic County reported three deaths on Thursday.
Officials say the three were from Northfield and residents of long-term care facilities. The three women, ages 85, 92, and 97, all had pre-existing health conditions.
As of today, 173 county residents have died from COVID-19.
Meanwhile, 16 new positive cases were announced today among 3 men (ages 51 to 84) and 13 women (ages 12 to 66). With today's numbers, 2,498 people have tested for COVID-19 in Atlantic County.
Atlantic County will continue its COVID-19 testing for symptomatic county residents on Tuesday, June 16th at the county public works complex on Route 9 in Northfield. For a list of qualifications and to make an appointment, visit the county's website.
