A man from Philadelphia has been arrested and charged with fatally shooting a man from Millville in Gloucester Township last month.

26-year-old Kacy Banks has been charged with,

  • First-degree felony murder
  • Second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon
  • Second-degree robbery

Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay's office says during the early morning hours of February 22nd, the Gloucester Township Police Department received a 9-1-1 call about a person who had been shot on the 800 block of North Black Horse Pike.

Officers at the scene located 28-year-old Tarik Green of Millville who was taken to Jefferson Hospital in Stratford where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Following an in-depth investigation, Banks was arrested on Wednesday in Philadelphia by the U.S. Marshals Service.

He remains in custody in Philadelphia pending extradition to New Jersey.
