Atlantic City Casino Association of New Jersey Selects New President

Mark Giannantonio, President and Chief Executive Officer of Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City is the new President of The Casino Association of New Jersey.

Giannantonio succeeds Joe Lupo, who will be leaving the Atlantic City gaming jurisdiction to become the President of The Mirage Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Giannantonio is The Dean of Atlantic City Casino Presidents, having spent the past 35 years in positions of increasing responsibility.

Giannantonio’s appointment comes at a critical tipping point, as the industry has recently negotiated an expensive new employment contract with UNITE HERE Local 54 … as the industry prepares to soon enter the shoulder and off-season months.

Atlantic City will also be facing more gaming competition from New York.

I have known Giannantonio for decades. You simply can’t find a person who cares more deeply about Atlantic City than Mark does.

Giannantonio works for one of the few boutique casino owners left in the casino business, in Morris Bailey. Bailey also has a long, profound love for Atlantic City.

Giannantonio has been President of Resorts Casino Hotel for more than a decade. Prior to that, he was the President of The Tropicana Casino Resort.
