Cops in Atlantic City say nearly two dozen people were arrested during a two-day street operation.

According to the Atlantic City Police Department, on Friday, October 16th, and Saturday the 17th members of the ACPD Special Investigations Section conducted a street operation along Pacific Avenue focusing on the possession and distribution of narcotics and quality-of-life issues.

Cops say during the operation, detectives arrested 20 people for a variety of offenses, the seized one handgun, more than 40 grams of cocaine, 266 bags of heroin, 9.6 grams of unpackaged heroin, and 27 grams of marijuana.

The following people were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility following their arrest:

ARRESTED: Christopher Britton, 49, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, and contempt of court.

ARRESTED: Brianna Howard, 24, of Absecon.
CHARGES: Two counts of possession of CDS and single counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, possession of a defaced firearm, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Malikah McLaughlin, 25, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Two counts of possession of CDS and single counts of possession with intent to distribute CDS, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, possession of a defaced firearm, and tampering with evidence, certain person not to possess a weapon, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Jacqueline Ryan, 31, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, possession of a defaced firearm, tampering with evidence, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Gordon Stokelin, 52, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, and contempt of court.

ARRESTED: Altyriek Warren, 31, of Galloway.
CHARGES: Two counts of possession of CDS and single counts of possession with intent to distribute CDS, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, possession of a defaced firearm, certain person not to possess a weapon, and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

The following people were released on a summons with a future court date:

ARRESTED: Ishmael Bailey, 41, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possesion of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Sean Ford, 37, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS, and possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of a public zone.

ARRESTED: Jude Francois, 27, of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS.

ARRESTED: Ronald Lee Gaskin, 27, of Rivera Beach, FL.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS.

ARRESTED: Omari George, 32, of Boynton Beach, FL.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS.

ARRESTED: Courtney Glose, 35, of Brigantine.
CHARGES: Engaging in Prostitution.

ARRESTED: Joseph Hayes, 24, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Two counts of possession of CDS, and single counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.

ARRESTED: Elicia Hughes, 28, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Abu Iasheed, 26, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia.

ARRESTED: Jamaal Johnson, 20, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS and possession with intent to distribute CDS.

ARRESTED: David Macey, 24, of Philadelphia, PA.
CHARGES: Two counts of possession of CDS, and single counts of possession with intent to distribute CDS, and possession with intent to distribute CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone.

ARRESTED: Javon Ross, 30, of Atlantic City.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS.

ARRESTED: Malcom Shepard, 21, of Lantana, FL.
CHARGES: Possession of CDS.
