Atlantic City Cops: Four Arrested, Materials for a Meth Lab Seized
Cops in Atlantic City say they arrested four people from Pennsylvania Thursday morning and seized guns, drugs, and materials for a meth lab.
Authorities say an ACPD officer stopped a vehicle around 10:30 AM Thursday in the 1500 block of Atlantic Avenue after observing one of the occupants engage in a drug transaction.
During the investigation, all four occupants were arrested after officers located a 22-caliber rifle, a handgun, 17 grams of methamphetamine, a small amount of heroin, and a large bag containing items to cook, produce, and store methamphetamine.
The New Jersey State Police Hazardous Materials Response Team were called in to assist in this investigation.
The following people were arrested:
ARRESTED: Colleen Coffin, 41, of Havertown, PA.
CHARGES: Maintaining a CDS production facility, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon (two counts), possession of a ghost gun, possession of CDS (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
ARRESTED: Timothy Collins, 34, of Downington, PA.
CHARGES: Maintaining a CDS production facility, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon (two counts), possession of a ghost gun, possession of CDS (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, and certain person not to possess a weapon.
ARRESTED: Juliya Hess, 27, of Downington, PA.
CHARGES: Maintaining a CDS production facility, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon (two counts), possession of a ghost gun, possession of CDS (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, and possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone.
ARRESTED: Timothy Kurkierewicz, 41, of Havertown, PA.
CHARGES: Maintaining a CDS production facility, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon (two counts), possession of a ghost gun, possession of CDS (two counts), possession of CDS with intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public zone, possession of CDS with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school zone, and certain person not to possess a weapon.
All four individuals were remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
