Here Are The Details

If you have E-Z Pass, nothing changes.

If you don’t have E-ZPass, it’s going to get real expensive, real soon.

• A 100 % surcharge … yes, the toll will cost double.
• Additionally, there will be fees for the cost of mailing your bills.
• $ 1 fee per-bill and $ 5 late fee if unpaid.

Obviously, they will not be happy. In the beginning, some will not know about these new rules and they’re going to get hit hard financially.

The All-Electronic, Cashless System

While not confirmed, could expand one day to the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway.

To Recap, This Is How It Will Work

• For E-ZPass Users: Nothing changes. Tolls will be deducted from the users account.
• Tolls by License Plate reader (No E-ZPass): Cameras will capture license plates, and the bill will be mailed to the registered car owner.
• Fees for Toll by Plate: Drivers without E-
  ZPass face a significant penalty: 100% Surcharge, which is double the original toll amount.
• $ 1 Invoice Fee will be added to each bill.
• $ 5 Late Fee if bills are not paid within 30 days of issuance of invoice due.
