ATLANTIC CITY PRINCIPAL DR. La’QUETTA SMALL HANDLES COMMUNICATION IN AN EXEMPLARY MANNER

They were back in the classroom for less than one day and Atlantic City High School has its first COVID-19 positive staff member.

It should be noted that Dr. La’Quetta Small, Principal of Atlantic City High School demonstrated prompt, appropriate and total transparency.

I have received copies of all documents that were sent to necessary staff members, etc.

According to Dr. Small, the staff member did not have any direct pupil contact.

I am including all of the documents that were provided by Dr. Small to her staff for your review, so that you can see for yourself exactly how a best practices example should be done.

This was handled in text book fashion in terms of how everyone should handle communication of such serious public matters.

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought out the best and worst in area leaders.

By ugly comparison, I received information this morning about a area government branch that took the approach to try and cover-up a staff member’s positive COVID-19 test.

This is an example as to exactly how to do it right.

Here are all of the documents for your review as follows:
