Atlantic City International Airport Has Been Evacuated [Photos]
We have just learned that Atlantic City International Airport has been evacuated on Thursday, March 6, 2025 during the 5:30 a.m. hour.
NOTE: We have added multiple updates at the bottom of this article.
Two persons who are presently at the airport have confirmed this.
One witness shared the following:
“l'm at the Atlantic City airport. They made us evacuate the building and now all police and firefighters are here. It's craziness.”
Further,
“It’s insane. security. screamed evacuate the building and made us move across street.”
Another witness who is currently on hand wrote me:
“Fire trucks responded, don’t know if it’s just an alarm or worse.”
We have obtained the following photos in real time:
Sirens are blaring at this hour.
This is a developing story. We will update this story as more information about the evacuation circumstances becomes available.
6:05 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025 UPDATE:
Our on hand witness says:
“They’re letting people back in. We are sitting in our car because it's gonna be a big back up, but it must be over because they're letting people back in. Now everyone has to go thru security again. Nightmare.”
7:20 a.m., Thursday, March 6, 2025 UPDATE: from The South Jersey Transportation Authority:
The terminal was evacuated for a fire alarm this morning. The airport followed its evacuation procedures. Our fire department responded to investigate and gave the all clear. Once the all clear was given we began repopulating the terminal. The airport is back to normal operations.
