Excellent work by the Atlantic City, New Jersey police department has led to the conviction of an Atlantic City man on narcotics and firearm charges.

Christian Parcaro Is Sentenced

On April 24, 2024, Parcaro pleaded guilty, and, on July 17, 2026, Parcaro was sentenced to 8 years in New Jersey State Prison before New Jersey Superior Court Judge Joseph Levin.

The sentence includes a five-year period of parole ineligibility, pursuant to New Jersey state law.

On November 8, 2023, Atlantic City Police Department officers observed Parcaro on the street weighing cocaine on a scale in the area of South Florida Avenue. Parcaro was apprehended and discovered to be in possession of a large amount of crack cocaine as well as a handgun. Parcaro is prohibited from possessing any weapons due to prior criminal convictions. Police arrested Parcaro on scene, and he was subsequently detained following a detention hearing on November 15, 2023, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Reveals The Details Of Parcaro’s Guilty Plea

On April 26, 2024, Parcaro pleaded guilty to second-degree possession with intent to distribute narcotics and second-degree certain persons not to possess a firearm for a recommended sentence of five years in New Jersey State Prison subject to a five-year period of parole ineligibility. At the time of his guilty plea, the State requested that a "no show, no recommendation" provision be added to the plea agreement when the Court decided to release the defendant from jail prior to his sentencing date. A "no show, no recommendation" provision means that if a defendant fails to appear for sentencing, the Court may sentence that defendant to greater term than the plea agreement originally recommended. Defendant then failed to appear for his original sentencing date in August of 2024, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
