Small also bragged about his efforts to cut the amount of hours that businesses can operate in Atlantic City. All of Small’s rhetoric was backward thinking and illogical.

Marty Small Philosophy Appears To Be Shaped By His Latest Indictment & Past Criminal Trials

Marty Small has twice faced criminal trials for various voter fraud allegations and the current long list of criminal charges, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office including:

Marty Small, Sr., 50, and his wife, La Quetta Small, 47, of Atlantic City, NJ were both indicted for second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Marty Small, Sr. was also indicted for third-degree Terroristic Threats, and third-degree Aggravated Assault. It is alleged that during the months of December 2023 and January 2024, the defendants physically and emotionally abused their 15/16-year-old-daughter on multiple occasions. During one incident, on January 13, 2024, Marty Small, Sr. is alleged to have hit his daughter multiple times in the head with a broom causing her to lose consciousness, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.

A heavy concentration of police protection is required. Atlantic City actually needs more, not less. Small is wrong.

Small Announced That He Is Also Against The Hiring Of More Police Officers

The Atlantic City Police Department is down by more than 100 police officers, because of reckless cuts made during Chris Christie’s time as Governor.

Even before the advent of Atlantic City Casino gaming, Atlantic City had 400+ police officers.

Small Also Bragged About Shortening The Hours Of Operation That Atlantic City Businesses Can Operate

Small’s opponent, Naeem Khan strenuously disagreed with him about this.

Khan is heavily invested in Atlantic City in the private sector. Small has only functioned in the public sector.

By comparison, the only positions that Small has ever had during his entire lifetime are government, taxpayer paid jobs.

Khan has created multiple businesses and jobs in the private sector and wants to bring this philosophy if governance to Atlantic City.
