Former Governor Chris Christie is a very unpopular, polarizing figure in New Jersey. Christie had a very low approval rating when he left office. And, his approval rating is very low today.
For example, in June, 2017, Governor Christie had a 15 percent approval rating … the lowest in recorded New Jersey history.
In the same Quinnipiac University poll, Christie had a disapproval rating of 81 percent.
Things haven’t gotten any better for Christie in the past 9 years regarding his approval rating.
