If Atlantic City Mayor Wins — He Will Still Likely Be Thrown Out
Any Atlantic City, New Jersey Democrat — even an indicted one (like Mayor Marty Small) — holds a 9 to 1 advantage in political party registration.
That’s a huge hurdle for Atlantic City Mayoral challenger Naeem Khan to overcome.
If Marty Small Wins Re-Election — He Likely Will Still Lose
Marty Small has successfully legally maneuvered to have his criminal trial delayed until after the November 4, 2025 General Election Day.
However, his criminal trial will ultimately have to take place. Small can’t delay it forever.
Presently, Marty Small’s criminal trial is set to begin on December 1, 2025.
Marty Small’s Wife Is Also Facing Criminal Indictment
La’Quetta Small is also under criminal indictment. Her trial is set to begin on January 12, 2026.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Describes The Small’s Criminal Indictments Like This …
On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Marty Small, Sr., 50, and his wife, La Quetta Small, 47, of Atlantic City, NJ were both indicted for second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Marty Small, Sr. was also indicted for third-degree Terroristic Threats, and third-degree Aggravated Assault. It is alleged that during the months of December 2023 and January 2024, the defendants physically and emotionally abused their 15/16-year-old-daughter on multiple occasions. During one incident, on January 13, 2024, Marty Small, Sr. is alleged to have hit his daughter multiple times in the head with a broom causing her to lose consciousness, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Marty Small was indicted by a second Atlantic County Grand Jury on an alleged witness tampering criminal charge.
No Deal
Marty Small was reportedly offered a plea deal, which would have had him escape incarceration. However, Small would have been required to resign his position as Mayor of Atlantic City … and, he would have been forever barred from holding public employment or public elective office ever again.
Marty Small turned down the plea deal.
La’Quetta Small was offered a much harsher 5-year prison sentence.
La’Quetta Small also turned down a plea deal.
Despite New Jersey law saying otherwise … La’Quetta Small was never suspended … pending resolution of her child abuse criminal charge.
Marty Small Has Won 2 Previous Criminal Trials
Marty Small is going for the criminal trial “Hat Trick.”
He’s betting that he can once again win a trial versus the state of New Jersey.
The two previous criminal trials were for various voter fraud allegations.
The state of New Jersey was very poorly prepared for the previous two Small trials … either on purpose, or, by accident, laziness, etc.
Marty Small was very well represented by the legendary Ed Jacobs, who outclassed and out-performed the state of New Jersey both times.
Will The 3rd Time Be The Charm For Marty Small?
1. Marty Small won the Democrat Primary Election of 2025 while under serious criminal indictment.
2. Marty Small has a great chance to win re-election on November 4, 2025.
3. If Marty Small can win at his criminal trial — whereby the evidence is overwhelmingly against him — then, he is one of the greatest political survivors of all time … and, in fairness, there’s no other way to describe it.
It Only Takes One
Marty Small only needs one juror to refuse to convict him and he wins.
If Mikie Sherrill becomes Governor … I can almost guarantee you that the state will not retry Marty or La’Quetta Small.
I believe that Jack Ciattarelli will be the next Governor of New Jersey. That changes everything.
