They are very critical of various actions taken by Atlantic County Prosecutor Will Reynolds over the past two years — including shocking details about the Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small criminal trial.

Brief Reynolds Timeline

Will Reynolds was nominated by then New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy as Acting Atlantic County Prosecutor on June 6, 2022.

Reynolds was unanimously confirmed by the New Jersey State Senate on August 8, 2022, and was sworn-in as Atlantic County Prosecutor on August 9, 2022, for a five-year term.

Reynolds’ current term expires on August 9, 2027, just about one year from now.

Our sources confirmed that Reynolds implemented a “war” footing strategy with the Mayor Small case and later, Reynolds said the same “war”‘comments about Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson and the County of Atlantic.

“20 Detectives Per-Day Worked On The Small Case”

The above is a direct quote. Further, we were told that “other work wasn’t getting done.”

This is disproportionate to reality according to our confidential sources. I was told that this was about 10 times more detective manpower than the April Kauffman murder trial.

It was an open “secret” that Reynolds wanted to be New Jersey Attorney General.

Our confidential sources stated that they referred to the Marty Small trial as a “Show Trial” that they believe Reynolds pursued to help promote his candidacy for New Jersey Attorney General.

Governor Mikie Sherrill obviously did not appoint Reynolds as Attorney General and there’s no evidence to support that Jack Ciattarelli would have appointed Reynolds had he become Governor.

Following his exoneration at trial, Small has filed litigation against Reynolds (personally and professionally) and the County of Atlantic.
