Atlantic City, New Jersey Boxing Hall Of Fame Class Of 2023

The Atlantic City, New Jersey Boxing Hall Of Fame has become one of the most important organizations of its kind in American history.

This is due to the Herculean efforts of Ray McCline and his team, that this annual event has become a world class happening.

There was a time when Atlantic City was the boxing Capital of the nation and world.

For example, during the late 1980’s, into the 1990’s “Iron Mike” Tyson was in his prime and under exclusive contract with former President Donald Trump.

The Atlantic City Boxing Association has formally announced that twenty four (24) Honorees have been selected for Induction.

The into 7th Annual Awards & Induction Weekend is set for Friday, September 29th, through Sunday October 1, 2023, at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

There are a variety of different Hall of Fame induction categories:

2023 INDUCTION CLASS:

FIGHTERS: George Foreman, Shannon Briggs, David Tua, Pinklon Thomas, Tracy Harris Patterson, Doug Dewitt, Darroll Wilson, Shamone Alvarez and Jamillia Lawrence.

CONTRIBUTORS: Arnold Robbins {Trainer & Manager), Matt Howard {Advisor, Joe Hand Sr. (Promoter), Lee Samuels (Public Relations) Rudy Battle (Referee), Benyi Esteves Jr.(Referee) and Joseph Santoliquito (Media).

POSTHUMOUSLY: Buster Dayton (Fighter) and Marty Feldman (Trainer & Manager).

PIONEERS: Horace M. Leeds (Fighter), Joe Miller (Promoter), Rocky Castellani (Fighter & Official), "KO" Becky O'Niell (Manager), Willie O'Neill (Trainer) and Frankie Polo (Fighter).
