This is the latest evidence that directly supports how important it is to have such an accomplished and credentialed regional medical center in the Atlantic City, New Jersey area.

The AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City and Mainland campuses have each earned Comprehensive & Primary Stroke Center certifications, respectively, again.

The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval® and the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association Heart-Check mark for Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification.

This is the fourth consecutive time that they have earned certification, which reflects a commitment to providing safe, quality care for patients.

We recently reported more AtlantiCare good news when the Joint Commission's recertification of ARMC's Mainland Campus in Pomona, NJ as a Primary Stroke Center in 2022.

AtlantiCare has earned this designation eight consecutive times since 2008.

"We commend ARMC for using certification to reduce variation in its clinical processes and to strengthen its program structure and management framework for stroke patients,” said Ryan.
