Atlantic City, NJ Area Seafood Compares to Anywhere in The World

The Atlantic City, Southern New Jersey area is rich for all kinds of wonderful seafood.

In tte past, we’ve shared how great the Atlantic City Lobster industry is and how the Atlantic City lobsters compare to the much more famous Maine lobsters.

Many people didn’t know that Atlantic City lobsters even existed and that they are comparable to any that you will find anywhere else in the world.

The late, great Leo Fraser said that you have to go at least 60 miles away to be considered an expert. There’s another true, old expression that you’re never a hero in your own home town.

So often, people wrongly believe that the best of anything is located far away from home. Yet, as is true in the game of life … many times the very best is right here at your fingertips.

Maine Lobsters get all of the big headlines and no doubt, their lobsters are sweet and delicious.

However, Atlantic City Lobsters are also wonderful in taste and texture.

Here’s a 4 pound Atlantic City Lobster that many of our family members shared together.

The Southern New Jersey area also has fantastic blue crabs.

My twin brother Don absolutely loves catching blue crabs in Patcong Creek.

Don and his wife Deborah then enjoy the process of cleaning, preparing and plating the delicious fruits of Don’s labor.
