Atlantic City, NJ, Cops: Gun Seized After Group Films Music Video at a School
Cops in Atlantic City say a group of men shooting a music video near a school led to a 17-year-old being arrested for having a loaded gun.
Officers with the Atlantic City Police Department were called out to the New York Avenue School around 5:20 Tuesday evening after they received a 9-1-1 call about two men that appeared to have a gun while a group was filming a video.
According to a press release, the group fled the area as officers approached but cops were able to stop a 17-year-old man.
The ACPD says, "the male admitted that he had a handgun in his waistband. The male was arrested without incident and found to be in possession of [a] handgun loaded with 21 rounds of ammunition."
The unidentified teen was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of hollow-point ammunition, and possession of a large-capacity magazine.
He was remanded to Harborfields Detention Facility.
