The Atlantic City, New Jersey professional firefighters have saved countless lives over the years through their heroic efforts that they make look routine every day.

They have also touched countless lives sign their indelible connection with the community.

The Atlantic City professional fire department have once again partnered with Santa Claus to deliver a magical experience for children this Christmas season.

This is an annual event that is very important to the Atlantic City professional fire department.

We connected with Atlantic City Fire Union President John Varallo and Steve Kohler about yesterday’s fantastic children’s event at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Today we continued our annual Toy Drive with an amazing toy giveaway to the children of Atlantic City. We partnered with The Irish Pub, Tanger Outlets, Boxx for Tots who all collected and also supplied toys, while our friends at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino donated the ballroom, cookies and hot chocolate. Everyone had a great time and Santa Clause even took time out of his busy schedule to stop by and take some last minute requests from the kids. Thank you to everyone who helped out to make this event the success it was. Merry Christmas.

As you can readily see, the life of public safety officers is not just about extinguishing fires and saving lives and property.

It’s also about giving back to the community that they are sworn to serve.
