
Pleasantville, NJ, Man Faces Charges in 2 Armed Liquor Store Robberies
A Pleasantville man has been arrested in connection with two armed robberies at an Atlantic City liquor store last month.

The Atlantic City Police Department says with help from the United States Marshals Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force, 39-year-old Robert Arroyo was taken into custody on Weymouth Avenue in Ventnor on Tuesday.
Arroyo was wanted following investigations into two armed robberies that occurred at a liquor store in the 3300 block of Atlantic Avenue on April 4th and 26th.
Police say during those robberies, "Arroyo pointed a handgun at the clerk and stole money from the cash register."
Following his arrest, detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Weymouth Avenue, where they say they recovered the gun that was believed to be used during the robberies.
Charges Filed
Arroyo is facing the following charges:
- 4 counts of aggravated assault
- 2 counts of robbery
- 2 counts of unlawful possession of a weapon
- 2 counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose
He is currently being held in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
