Latest Drug Conviction
Reynolds has achieved the conviction of an Atlantic City man for possession of drugs, with the intent to distribute same.
On Tuesday, May 20, 2025, Knocumus Dixon, 34 years old, from Atlantic City, New Jersey, pleaded guilty to:
- first-degree possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
- fourth-degree obstruction.
Here Are The Details Of The Latest Guilty Plea:
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said:
On September 21, 2023, Detective Eric Evans of the Atlantic City Police Department saw Dixon exit 33 South lowa Avenue in Atlantic City. Dixon proceeded to approach multiple individuals for brief conversations, which were consistent with hand-to-hand sales of drugs. Dixon then entered the passenger seat of a motor vehicle. After the driver of the vehicle committed motor vehicle infractions, a motor vehicle stop occurred and an oxycodone pill was located in the center console.
Police Obtain Warrant to Search:
Further, police searched Dixon’s apartment and discovered:
- more than five ounces of cocaine.
- various drug paraphernalia, including multiple digital scales and empty baggies.
Not The First Time for Dixon
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that prior to the latest incident, “Dixon obstructed a drug investigation which was conducted on Florida Avenue in Atlantic City in May 2022,” said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation was handled by the Vice Unit of the Atlantic City Police Department … with a collaboration that featured: Assistant Atlantic County Prosecutor Chris D'Esposito, who led the prosecution, with the Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
Dixon is presently incarcerated at the Atlantic County Justice facility, pending his sentencing which is set for some time in July, 2025.
