Atlantic City, New Jersey activist, Steve Young is at the scene of an extensive Atlantic City Police incident, which involves Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small … who is also present at the scene.

Steve Young called me to report that Small arrived in his large Atlantic City taxpayer provided SUV.

Young advised that he told Small that he (Small) was not allowed to conduct himself in this manner with public property and in his role as Mayor.

The incident is taking place at this hour (5:00 p.m.) on the 1600 block of Gramercy Avenue (Michigan Avenue).

A reliable Atlantic City Police Department source confirmed that Small was at the scene because he had received a phone call that “his daughter was at this address and in distress.”

Young advised that Small told him that he was not leaving the scene until he was able to speak with his daughter.

The situation is very complicated, as Marty Small currently faces multiple criminal indictments regarding alleged child abuse and witness tampering, involving his own daughter.

We have spoken with members of the Atlantic City Council. They all appear to be aware of this latest incident and drama involving Marty Small.

It places the Atlantic City Police Department in an untenable position, because Marty Small is the civilian director of public safety for Atlantic City.

It’s very difficult for the Atlantic City Police to operate under these dysfunctional conditions.

“This is not good for the Mayor to be on the scene under these circumstances,” said Young.

According to Young, an adult at the residence told the Atlantic City Police that the Small daughter was not in their home.

Young advised that Small threatened him, saying “You’re next.”

“I’m sick of him (Marty Small) using his office and city taxpayer property for his own personal benefit and directing the police department for his own personal use,” said Young.

At one point, there were up to 10 Atlantic City police officers on the scene.

Small left the police scene at about 5:30 p.m., according to Young.

There is an Atlantic City K9 Police Officer stationed out front of the home this hour (6:00 p.m.)

In fairness to the Atlantic City Police Department, they are only doing their job.

It is beyond time for the state of New Jersey to remove Marty Small from any supervisory role of the Atlantic City Police Department.
