Atlantic City, NJ Mayor Political Opponents Claim Retaliation

Two Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small political opponents have received parking tickets over the past two days.

I have spoken with both John Exadaktilos, owner of The Ducktown Tavern and Liquors and Ron Bailey, who has run for Atlantic City Council, while openly opposing the Small agenda.

Each believes that they are a victim of political retaliation by Small.

Each claims that their vehicles were selectively ticketed … while other nearby vehicles were not ticketed.

Both have advised that they will be taking their claims against Small to court.

Here is John Exadaktilos’ ticket:

Exadaktilos previously survived an indictment regarding an encounter at his establishment with a City of Atlantic City inspection employee.

Exadaktilos achieved a clear and convincing in in the case.

From John Devlin to others … claims about Marty Small retaliating against his perceived political enemies have been made for years.

Devlin was removed from both his Atlantic City Municipal Utilities Authority and Atlantic City Board of Education (board member) seats.

Devlin has filed substantial litigation against the City of Atlantic City, Marty Small, La’Quetta Small and many others.

At the time of Devlin’s removal, Atlantic City Council President George Tibbitt said on-air on WPG Talk Radio 95.5 (Hurley) that “Mayor Marty Small lied to us about John Devlin,” said Tibbitt.

”We owe John Devlin a public apology,” which Tibbitt went on to publicly give Devlin.

“Marty Small strikes again,” said Bailey. “Yesterday it was John (Exadaktilos) from Ducktown … this morning both of my vehicles were given improper parking tickets while they were other vehicles in blatant violation” that were not ticketed, according to Bailey.

Bailey took photos of multiple vehicles that were improperly parked in no parking zones.

The Marty Small era as Mayor of Atlantic City has been a very controversial one thus far.
