On Day 1 of the criminal trial of Atlantic City, New Jersey Mayor Marty Small … 30 potential jurors were evaluated.

A Total Of 90 Potential Jurors Will Be Evaluated

Each is required to complete a lengthy questionnaire, that covers a variety of issues … including if the potential jurors know:

The presiding Judge is New Jersey Superior Court Judge Joseph Levin.

Levin is an experienced judge, who possesses the proper judicial temperament required to handle a case of this magnitude.

The Honorable Bernard E. DeLury

Former New Jersey Superior Court Judge Bernard DeLury retired (mandatory retirement age) prior to the start of this trial.

However, DeLury’s presence will be felt all over this trial.

DeLury did a great job during the preliminary phase of this high profile case.

DeLury skillfully handled the many motions that were filed by Marty and LaQuetta Small legal teams.

DeLury did a great job and he handed Levin a very good situation to takeover.
