An Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Department investigation has led to the arrest of three individuals and the recovery of three handguns and drugs.

The investigation was conducted by detectives of the Special Investigations Unit.

The investigation was led by Atlantic City Police Detective Eric Evans.

Those arrested are:

  • Dequay Belt, a 20-year old male from Atlantic City.
  • Damarice Bennett, a 36-year old male from Atlantic City.
  • Keisha Belt, a 39-year old female from Atlantic City.

DeQuay Belt is charged with:

  • 2 counts of unlawful possession.
  • 2 counts of possession of a prohibited device.

Damarice Bennett is charged with:

  • unlawful possession of a weapon.
  • possession of CDS.
  • possession with intent to distribute CDS.
  • unlawful possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense.
  • A certain person who is not allowed to possess a weapon.
  • money laundering.
  • possession of CDS paraphernalia.

Keisha Belt is charged with:

  • Possession of CDS.
  • Possession with intent to distribute CDS.
  • Money laundering.

DeQuay Belt and Damarice Bennett are currently being housed in the Atlantic County Justice Facility.

Keisha Belt has been released on a summons, to return for a future court date.
