Atlantic City, NJ Police: Daylight Shooting, Again, One In Custody

Official Atlantic City Police sources have confirmed that multiple gunshots have been fired today in Atlantic City at Pennsylvania and Baltic Avenues.

We have also confirmed that one person is in police custody.

The suspect is facing a staggering number of serious charges.

ARRESTED:

TajMalik Harris, 28, of Atlantic City

CHARGES:

• Unlawful Possession of Weapon
• possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose
• possession of hollow points ammunition
• certain persons not to possess firearms
• possession of CDS (heroin)
• possession of CDS with the intent to distribute CDS
• possession with intent to distribute CDS within 1,000 feet of a school zone
• possession of a weapon during a CDS distribution
  offense
• aggravated assault (2 counts)
• resisting arrest by force
• obstruction (2 counts)
• money laundering

Harris is Currently being housed at the Atlantic County Justice facility.
