Atlantic City, NJ, Police Officer Has Died Just Days Before Benefit
There has been a long scheduled event to be held for Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Sergeant Jeff Rivera and his family.
Sadly, we have learned that Sergeant Rivera passed away today after a courageous 2-year battle with stomach cancer … just days before the November 7, 2024 benefit event.
The benefit will go on as scheduled and it’s set for Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at The Wonder Bar, located at 3701 Sunset Avenue in Atlantic City.
About Rivera and the fast approaching benefit:
The family of Sergeant Jeff Rivera, along with the brothers and sisters of the Atlantic City Police Department are calling for your support. Jeff has been fighting terminal, Stage 4 stomach cancer for over two years. All proceeds will go to the Rivera family.
The Atlantic City Police Department and surrounding communities always come through when one of their finest has fallen.
Not just for the upcoming benefit, you can also expect an outpouring of support for Sergeant Rivera and his family.
This family is now without its husband and father, and, the Atlantic City Police Department has lost a fine superior officer.
Tickets for the Rivera benefit are $ 30.00 and can be purchased either at the door on the night of the benefit … or, at the Atlantic City PBA at 250 N New York Avenue, Suite 121, Atlantic City, New Jersey.
