This is a very big deal. For too many years, Atlantic City, New Jersey has lacked a major grocery store … earning Atlantic City a reputation and designation for being a “food desert.”

That’s a dry desert … not to be confused with a tasty dessert.

Casino Reinvestment Development Authority

Has achieved a major collaboration with Moran Foods to transform the Renaissance Plaza Supermarket into a long-term, stable major grocery store for the citizens and visitors to Atlantic City.

$ 20 Million Dollar Investment

This NJEDA investment will support infrastructure improvement.

The store will remain open during the renovation process.
