Atlantic City Police Work Leads To Vineland Man Guilty Of Drugs

Excellent law enforcement work by the Atlantic City Police Department has led to a Vineland, New Jersey pleading guilty to drug charges.

The Vineland man has since been sentenced.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office has confirmed that on Thursday, July 30, 2026, Carmelo Rosado, 30 years old, from Vineland, New Jersey was sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison before New Jersey Superior Court Judge Pamela D'Arcy.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office also confirmed that Rosado previously pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance on May 18, 2026.

Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Has Provided Details About This Drug Conviction

On June 17, 2025, Atlantic City Police Department officers observed Rosado in the area of the Martinique and Econo Lodge Motels in Atlantic City. Officers confirmed that there were active warrants for Rosado's arrest out of another jurisdiction. Rosado was taken into custody and was found in possession of cocaine, said the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.

Assistant Atlantic County Prosecutor Renee Marshina represented the State in this case.
