The Atlantic City, New Jersey Police Department will be conducting a public auction for abandoned and unclaimed cars.

Public Auction Date Is Set

The public auction will be held in Thursday, May 28, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Location

The Atlantic City Police Department Impound Lot, located at 1100 North Albany Avenue, Atlantic City, New Jersey 08401.

Public Auction Bidders

You can view and inspect the automobiles beginning at 9:00 a.m. on public auction day.

The Public Auction Rules

All vehicles will be sold on an individual basis and on an “as is” basis.

A minimum bid of $ 200 is required for each automobile.

The successful bidder is required to pay for the automobile in full at the time of sale.

The automobile must be removed from the Atlantic City Police Department Impound lit by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2026.

The Atlantic City Police Department will be following New Jersey state laws, specifically, N.J.S.A. 40A:14-57 and 39:10A-1.
