Atlantic County Jail Earns 100 Percent Compliance with State Standards

The Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing has earned 100 percent compliance with state standards for adult county correctional facilities.

According to a press release from the county, this is the third consecutive year it has met full compliance.

The New Jersey Department of Corrections conducted an inspection from January 7th through 11th and looked at 25 different categories, including personnel, training and staff development, emergency procedures, and food service.

“The public can be assured that the Atlantic County Jail is operating at the highest standards as confirmed by this rigorous inspection,” stated Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson.
